The Moonlight
The Moonlight offers an exceptional combination of portability, power, and tone in a high-end combo amplifier.
At the heart of the Moonlight is a classic 5F6A circuit design. In place of the original 4 hole input with two Normal
and two Bright inputs, a single pair of inputs and a Bright/Normal switch is offered. The Moonlight is available in
either a 2x10 (AlNiCo 10A150) or a 1x12 (AlNiCo Blue Dog) configuration. This makes for a rather tight little
power house of a combo. Imagine having the power and tone of a 59 bassman, but in a smaller box with two
higher powered tens or a 1x12 configuration. And on top of that, add reverb! . Tone controls include Treble, Bass,
Mid, and a Bright/Normal switch. Reverb is added by including an opamp circuit to drive and pickup the signal
from a classic Accutronics spring reverb tank. The single Reverb knob mixes the dry and wet signals for the
desired amount of reverb. The combo cabinet is hand built with Solid Pine and 1/4" finger joints. Each amplifier is
hand wired in our shop in Carlsbad, CA, USA.
